The Central Pacific Bank Foundation supports programs designed to create opportunities for youth and foster social progress in Hawaii. The grantmaker has identified the following area(s) of interest:
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: The foundation supports programs designed to assist underprivileged individuals and families improve their economic status. Special emphasis is directed toward basic needs through the distribution channel growth of food, shelter, and clothing; and social services through the development of like skills including leadership, career development, and team building.
EDUCATION: The foundation supports program designed to provide students and teachers the right environment and tools to succeed. Special emphasis directed toward educational tools through access for needy students and classrooms including books, school supplies, and technology; teachers through professional development and resources for quality education; and schools through the quality of school buildings and grounds.

No support for political action committees or candidates, fraternal or alumni organizations, private non-operating foundations, athletic teams, social groups, or discriminatory organizations. No grants to individuals, or for conferences, festivals, or other one-time events, or activities that have already occurred; no lobbying loans.
