Emphasis on organizations concerned with care for the aged and youth; supports a scholarship program sponsored by El Paso Community Foundation for students of local high schools for undergraduate study at the University of Texas-El Paso.
The foundation has funded 26 grants to 14 organizations totaling $156,748 over the past five years. Past awardees include: Center for Community Empowerment, El Paso Community College, Del Norte, El Paso Society for Human Resources, and Project Ariba.

Giving primarily is limited to non profit organizations in Texas with emphasis on El Paso county. No grants to individuals.

Awards vary based on scope and size of project. Awards are up to $25,000. Most awards are less than $5,000.
